README for turnthepage package, 2024-11-15, v2.0a TABLE OF CONTENTS ================= 1 Introduction 2 Download 3 Installation 4 Additional Packages 5 Authors/Maintainer 6 Bug Reports 1 INTRODUCTION ============== On some exams’ sheets, some professors or lecturers like to indicate to the reader that the ‘page’ can be turned. That avoids oversights to the student, thereby avoiding them cold sweat at the end of the exam, realizing that there were other questions they needed to answer. One might implement a LaTeX mechanism so that each odd page (except the last one, if the last page is odd) displays a message to turn the page. This mechanism can also be useful for different kinds of documents. This package can thus be used for exams, or special documents printed ‘twoside.’ This material is published under the LPPL 1.3c: This work may be distributed and/or modified under the conditions of the LaTeX Project Public License, either version 1.3c of this license or (at your option) any later version. If used with old LaTeX formats, additionally needed are: atbegshi, everyshi and atveryend. 5 AUTHORS/MAINTAINER ==================== Author of the package and current maintainer: Luca Merciadri with help from: Marc van Dongen, H.-Martin Münch 6 BUG REPORTS ============= A bug report should contain: * Comprehensive problem description. This includes error or warning messages. * \errorcontextlines=\maxdimen can be added in the TeX code to get more information in TeX error messages. * Minimal test file that shows the problem, but does not contain any unnecessary packages and code. * Used drivers/programs. * Version information about used packages and programs. * If you are using LaTeX, then add "\listfiles" to the document. Then a list of version information is printed at the end of the LaTeX run. * Please no other files than the minimal test file. The other files .log, .dvi, .ps, .pdf are seldom necessary, so send them only on request. * Please .zip or .tar.gz your file(s) before sending them!
